In August 2008 Kim McAuliffe's ESP Guitar bought in 1981 in Japan, signed by Girlschool and Motorhead, was put on auction on ebay and raised  £1600 for the  Essex Air Ambulance, this guitar has been played at gigs all over the world and on numerous albums.

The Auction ended on September 4th 2008 and the auction winner 

and proud new owner of the guitar is Lydia Czuba from Winnipeg, Canada!
